it's nandra. they also call her nashz, the history of such name is way too long to elaborate in this little space. she's seventeen. she's a she. she lives a typical metropolitan lifestyle in the capital of Indonesia. she's currently in her senior year of high school, enduring the second and last year of IB Diploma Programme that's totally ruining her life slowly. but she thinks the whole suffering would give her some sort of advantage in the (scarily) near future. she's a CISVer and lovin' every bit of it. oh, she also very much enjoys mango juice, she'd even prefer it than OJ haha. and while we're at it, yes, she might be random from time to time. she wishes you'd be quite patient about it. :)

make my day brighter

these two blogposts made my day.

first off is from billbeckett:

wow. gorgeous much? he looks so damn captivating in that picture. it was a totally jaw-dropping moment when i opened his blog. couldn't stop staring at the screen for a whole five minutes. i didn't even bother to scroll down and check out his saturday night music club, which is usually the first thing i search for in his blog and my favourite part of his blog as well haha.

but seriously, amidst the stress i'm coping with, it totally brigthened me up haha.

oh here's another one. an entry by the singer/songwriter mega genious Gary Lightbody on Snow Patrol's blog:

Friends and music. They are simpatico of course but not always in a positive way. Sometimes we share what we hate most with our friends and in conspiring it helps us to validate our dislikes and galvanise our friendship. Yeah, well, fuck that. Galvanise your friendship (and flood the internet, why not) with the things you love. The thing you share. The thing that you think might make the other person you care abouts life better just by hearing it...

it made me smile. even for just a second. but it was a big smile, plus a warm touch to the heart. a part of it made ma laugh though, for the sheer truth of it. the part where he said that we share our dislikes with our friends, and by that we are validating that dislike but at the same time galvanising our friendship. 

when you think of it, it's not so good, 'cause why spread hatred, not love? but still. the thing is, it's easier to find things hateable than things loveable. it's easier to talk about hateable things, too. whereas, with the things we love, it's sometimes hard to admit 'coz we deny that love, no? hmm, i feel like i'm talking nonsense right now haha. i probably am. :p

well anyways. yeah.
i love how he said that we should galvanise our friendship by sharing about the things we love and the things that make our friend's life better, because we care for them. so i suppose trashtalking is out of the question to build up friendship, huh? hahaha.

oh well guys, that's all for today i guess. just a little sharing from me.
gotta get back to homeworks haha.
