gw malah browsing2 ga jelas. parah banget ga sih? hehe
gatau kenapa hari ini kayaknya gw bener2 gak peduli sama tugas2 akademis gw (cailah akademis!). itu learning journal blom gw sentuh dari tadi gw pulang sekolah. padahal gw tau lumayan banyak kerjaan yang bisa gw catch-up mulai dari sekarang.

berhubung mulainya sebuah minggu baru, gw punya komitmen baru.
yaitu:
END PROCRASTINATION.dua kata yang udah gw ulang2 dari jaman kapan. tapi kali ini gw serius.
salah satu approach gw adalah: gw akan matiin wireless (i.e. wi-fi, internet) sampe gw selesain tugas2 gw. SO NO INTERNET UNTIL I FINISH MY TASKS.

i'm sick! i'm sick sick sick.
i mean, literally, i'm sick. the whole thing's not metaphorical.
i'm sick as in massively sore throat. gaaah.
crap. i'm missing drama today. boo hoo! but on the other hand, i havent done my bi presentation sooo got time to do it today! yaaay! haha. well i'll be back to school tomorrow tho, so all those people who feels hollow and empty without me next to them, i'll be BACK! so wipe off your tears... and be ready to welcome me back! haha.

anyways, berhubung gw sakit, gw melakukan hal2 yg orang-sakit-pas-hari-skolah lakukan.
MAEN.NONTON.TIDUR.yeah, baby. gw maen zuma n inspector parker sampe mejret! lama2 gw triak2 "ZUMA!" kayak orang gila di rumah. wakaka.
padahal banyak hal produktif yang bisa gw lakukan. hehe. such as beresin kamar gw. berhubung baru di-remodel, jadi buku2 dan folder2 yg terlupakan berantakan semua di lantai. bgitu nyokap bilang, "
ndra, mumpung di rumah mbok ya diberesin itu kamarnya..."
demi menghindar dari tanggung jawab, tapi disaat yg sama tidak berbuat dusta (cailah bahasanya!) gw jawab,

havent posted in quite a long while. i'm in my extremly lazy + procrastinaiting mode today. i'm serious. i've been putting off everything thinkable. haha.
CAN'T HAPPEN!
NO NO NO.
i remember on monday, mr peter (my principal) asks us to write down "my commintment for this week" on our learning journals. to my surprise, i find it to be a very useful and enlightening approach. usually i find his "enlightment" umm, useless.
so i wrote down:
"i'm gonna do and hand in my homeworks and tasks given by my teachers on time"
wow.
some commitment.
well, i was surprised to find myself taking it seriously, coz i've never take anything mr peter said on stage during the morning assemblies.
since it's a new year...

akhir2 ini kerjaan gw beli dvd mulu. hehe. abis gw beli dvd banyak bgt, dah gitu msh banyak yg blom ditonton. hehe. i feel like making a movie review. so here goes.
AtonementStarring: Keira Knightley, James McAvoy, Saoirse Ronan
Directed by: Joe Wright
Based on the novel by Ian McEwan
this movie is just marvelous. it was beyond. it is about well, um, atonement. how far someone would go to atone their guilt.
the movie starts with 13-year-old Briony Tallis (Saoirse Ronan), an amateur writer and daughter of a wealthy, well-respected parents. she's spending the summer in the huge Tallis' estate. during which she witnesses her sister, Cecilia's (Keira Knightley) "romantic encounter" (can't find the right/appropriate words, sorry haha) with Robbie (James McAvoy), their houskeeper's son/gardener. blinded by jealousy and naivety Briony concluded that Robbie was assaulting her sister, when it's not what happened. when, Lola Quincey, Tallis' cousin was found raped in their garden, Briony accused Robbie as the attacker, resulting Robbie being arrested and sent to jail solely out of Briony's false testimony. she accused Robbie of a crime he never commited. from then on, her journey to seek atonement begins. will she be able to apologize to Robbie and Cecilia for condemning their love forever? will she tell the truth of what happened when Lola was raped? who raped Lola?
curious much? you have to watch this movie. i regreted it so much not to have watched it during jiffest, though i had the ticket already. but good thing i found the dvd. bad subtitles though. ;p
it is a complex story, but i find the theme quite simple. i suppose we encounter atonement in our life, no? the ending is very very surprising. a seemingly happy ending, but then again, maybe it won't. i cried watching the ending, really. you would be very surprised, once you know what happened to Cecilia and Robbie. no spoiler here, thank you very much! go watch it yourself! it's a must watch!

this one is a musical. and a really good one, to be exact. set in the 1960s, all of the songs are The Beatles' songs! it features more than 30 Beatles' songs. and i just love Beatles! the storyline's marvelous too. another movie which i didn't get to watch during jiffest. =[
this movie is sort of a mozaic/montage and the storytelling is quite hard to be written in words. since there are a lot of characters, with their own story to tell. though these character's end up in nyc, it's very complicated. ;p
so the movie starts with Jude (the oh-so-hot Jim Sturgess), on the beach singing the song "Girl". then it moves on to Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood) on a dance party with her boyfriend, who is to be drafted to Vietnam. we'll then find out that Jude lives in Liverpool, with his single mother. he never knew his father, so he traveled to New Jersey, to Princeton University to be exact, because his father works there. Jude thought his father would be a renowened proffesor or somethin', turned out he war merely a janitor. Jude met Max (Joe Anderson), a student in Princeton and soon befriends him.
in the mean time, we scour all the way to Ohio, to find Prudence (T.V Carpio) a high school student, who's in love with someone (not clearly shown, i don't know who the crush is myself) and sings "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" (oh, i loooove this scene!). we'll then find out that she'll hitchhike all the way to New York City.
meanwhile, Max turned out to be Lucy's brother, and he invited Jude to come to their family's thanksgiving dinner. spontaneously (or not) Max asked Jude to go to New York with him, and so off the go. their adventure starts here, they rented an apartment and befriend their landlord, Sadie (Dana Fuchs), who is an aspiring singer.
back in New Jersey, Lucy was in grief because her boyfriend, Daniel died in Vietnam. to escape from grief (i spose xp), she went to New York to find her brother, Max. then, romance blooms between Lucy and Jude (they'rea cute couple, really).
in New York, Lucy joined an anti-war movement. however, the (seemingly) apolitical Jude doesn't really support Lucy's group, as their act become more radical and anarchist. as a chain of chaotic event followed, Jude was to be deported back to England.
will he ever see Lucy again? what will happen to Max?
ok, so i suppose i've practically told you half of the movie, so i shall go no further! go watch it yourself! it's a romantic movie, really. a lot of important messages are delivered here. such as the true meaning of friendship, how war is no good to the humanity, the power of love and lots more.though some may be invisible to me... or not.
it wound up to one sentence.

hello people! a little update won't hurt, no?
nggak bgitu banyak hal spesial akhir2 ini. monoton sperti biasa. tapi, semonoton2nya hari-hari gw, my friends will make the monotonous routines seemingly incredible. haha.
seperti biasa, sekolah, pergi bentar, pulang.
fine, enggak bentar sih. sampe malem soalnya. tadi ke dokter mata & kulit!
omg, min gw nambah! arh. gives my parents another reason to wear my glasses permanently. garh. ga suka! huhu. i want that levi's one! the maroon one! aaargh. haha.
apa lagi ya, yg bisa diceritain? hmmm...
duh, gatau knapa, akhir2 ini cerpen2 gw selalu putus di tengah jalan! kenapa ya? writer's block parah nih. udah hampir 2 bulan, cerpen gw ga slesai2. padahal tinggal dikiiiit lagi. tapi gatau apa yg mau ditulis. kalo pun udah ada di kepala, bingung nulisnya gmana. garh. anegh. ;p
but ideas are sprouting up tho. hehe. just wait and see people. i spose i nedd to update my writing portfolia thingy at writing.com. garh, so lazy lately. i feel like curling in my bed and READ READ READ. i have quite lots of unread books lying around.

Umm, nothing really interesting about my Monday. Rather suck-ish really. I suddenly got the flu in the morning, pr les gw ilang entah kemana, padahal udah susah payahg gw kerjain huhu. See, nothing really interesting. Haha.
My weekend was quite interesting tho. ;p
SUNDAY 13.01.08OK, sunday wasn't really interesting. Haha. Gw pagi2 temenin nyokap pergi liat ad gw tes karate. Ternyata seru lo, hiaaat ciaaaat gt. HAAHAHAHA. KARATE CHOP! hahahah. aneh bgt apa coba.
Gw bingung kenapa dulu gw ga pernah les martial arts. padahal keren tuh kalo gw bisa karate chop. HAHAHA.
Ummm, udah sih gt aja, ga ngapa2in lagi .HAHA.
SATURDAY 12.01.08Well, Saturday was quite interesting. Gw pergi ke ITC Kuningan/Mal Ambasador (it's connected btw) bareng nyokap, niatnya sih mau nyari kalkulator grafik yg sumpah mahal gila and gw ilangin itu. hahah. tapii gw udah muter2 itu mal, sampe gw mau muntah, ga nemu pula! Kalo nanya orang satu bilangnya,
"Di ITC ada, mba! Di lantai 1" yaudah, gw ke ITC nya... Begitu sampe ITC, nanya orang... itu orang malah bilanG,
"Di Ambasador kali, mbak..."BUSET! MAU SAMPE KAPAN GW DIPUTER2 KAYAK GINI!!!Karena stress mikirin masa depan yg suram (lho? kok aneh ahhaha), akhirnya gw sama nyokap melakukan apa yg kebanyakan orang lakukan di ITC, yaitu
BELANJA!Hahaha betul deh, gw nemu vest sama legging. Ga ada kalkulator, vest pun jadi! Hahah.
Abis dari ITC, gw ke rmh Ray, temen CISV gw. It was his 17th bday, tapi dia ga mau ngerayain gt. SOOO, if he doesn't want a party, we'll give him one anyways! hahaha. Jadi surprise party gt haha.
Well, he was surprised alright. The snow spray thingy really hits the spot! ;p
Though Ray came too early, it was a blast. And at least he was surprised. HAHA.
yaaaa gt deh, the party went by.
We talked and laughed and eat of course! (i want SOSIMA! ;P)
Anyways, after that we talked bout watching golden compass. I was excited already, tuh! Tapi pas gw nanya nyokap...

Finally, the day I've awaited for has come.
YAY SCHOOL!!! omg, could i sound MORE geeky??
whatever, KANGEN BANGEEEEET sama temen2!! 10A IS BACK BABY AND WE'RE SO ROCKIN' THIS SEMESTER! haha. apa coba. well, i'm more than glad to be back. though I LOATHE the padlocked lockers. it's such a nuisance. it's gonna take me 2 times longer to get my locker open.
anyways, we'll see what the fate of my locker will be in the coming days. ahhaha.
soooo, there are new students at school. they were friendly, i spose. haha. we (meaning me, filza, sari dll) hung out with this girl, nabila. she just moved from new york. WOW. yeah, i wanna go to new york! *pout*
hahaaha. aneh ah.
tapiiii my first day was SO close to becoming lethargic. blech.
i despise that girl. gak penting banget, untung gw cukup sabar ngadepin dia. i'm not sure i can take anymore of her crap tho.

Atonement, means
satisfaction or reparation for a wrong or injury; amends.we all must've come across atonement at one point of our life. we did something bad, may it be something small or big, sometimes, we'll find a way to repair for the wrongs we've done.
the movie shows how long one will go through to seek atonement.
it's not so easy to explain really. but i still have a lot more to say about this movie. perhaps, some other time. maybe tomorrow i'll say what i need to say.
but in the mean time, i shall retire. ;p

To start off, as you can see, I've changed my template. Aside from sheer boredom, the reason I changed by template is because it's a new year. I agree with filza, I do need a fresh new layout to mark the start of a fresh new year.
I suppose everything seems to be new.

I intend to be more serious about my studies this year. And I hope that my seriousness in my academic life will continue in the years coming.
Sooo school starts tomorrow. There's a lot to expect I suppose. New lockers, timetables, schoolmates maybe, who knows, right? I miss my friends a lot, as I've mentioned in the post some 3 days ago, I miss my 10a lovelies. Missed the togetherness we've shared for the past 6 months. Well, I'll be seeing them soon! Yayh.

I'm such a picky person. I'm scared I'll have this obssesive-compulsive-disorder in making choices.
Take today for example. Tadi kan gw ke gunung agung, mau beli stationery (since all my pencils seem to vanish into thin air xp) and other misc stuff hehe. niatnya sih mau bentar doang, yaaa paling lama stgh jam lah.
TAPI EH TAPI.
ujung2nya gw hampir sejam di tga. sampe nyokap gw ngomel2.padahal gw cuman beli pensil 3 biji ma folder doang. parah lah gw. hehe. i was very very picky when it comes to stationeries. haha. ;p
another example is finding a template for tis blog. it took me hours and hours surfing blogskins yet i havent decided on one. hmmmmphfs. oh well. or maybe i did. well we'll just see.
im just reflecting my thoughts of myself. haha. anyways, i digress, let's change the subject.
sooooo, school is starting in two days! yet again, i dunno how to feel towards that fact. soo yeah, dat.
oh oh! i'm extremely in the mood of photoshopping lately. my deviantart is finally filled! haha. cman 10 doang sih, but more are coming! my creative photomanipulating creative mindset (apa coba) is on full throttle! hehehe.

As 8th of January approaches slowly, I begin to develop this mixed feelings bubbling deep inside a cauldron in my gut. A part of me doesn't want this fantabulous holiday to end, yet another half of me is missing school.
The atmosphere.
The [new, yeah!] lockers.
The friends.
The super classmates. [awh, i miss my 10a lovelies ;p]
The anxiety of being late to [enter teacher's name here] class. hehe.
And I really really miss the glued togetherness of 10a. Kangeeeeen banget sama kekompakan 10a. hehe. Gw kangen banget telat bareng-bareng satu kelas and bikin Mr. Godfried pusing 7 keliling nyariin murid2nya. Kangen pesen hokben trus bingung gara2 ada
yg nggak bayar [ehem!]. Kangen ketawa 15 menit nonstop demi menghentikan ocehan Mr. Godfried yg cuman bisa bikin kita botak doang. hehe. Good times... Good times...
Anyways, school is like my second home. There's this mutual hateful-yet-loveable atmosphere stuck to that 9 floor building in which I've spent the approx. 8 hours for the past 3 1/2 years of my life. Hehe.
Speaking of school, one of my new year resolution is to be more serious with school. Though it's ridiculously filled with vicarious, brain-death-sentence tasks, assessments etc, it's something I MUST endure for 12 years. And if I want to have a successful career sometime in the future, I should do WELL, no?
Well, look who's talkin! HAHA.
Anyways, just a thought.

AAAHH! I MISSED THE FIRST DAY OF THE YEAR POST! HOW COULD I????!!!!
oh well.
IT'S 08 EVERYBODY!!!!!fast, huh? suddenly i'm entering the second semester of year 10! omg! hihi
sooooo surprisingly, i haven't really think of any resolutions for o8. and i have no idea why.
anyways, i'm really spaced out today. dunno why. but i really hav nothing to talk about. life's been pretty mediocre after bali. blech. hehe.
