owh crap. gw pusing nih. assessments are coming. running towards me like a stampede. udah gitu belom ngerencanain dance party yg bisa dibilang hampir gagal. itu acara udah di ujung tanduk tau ga?? i say, that gw kurang organised. kita kurang organised. sebel. i really want this to happen. pokoknya gw ga mau tau. i want to hav this. i want to MAKE this happen. yes, i'm an ambitious person. and i want to show it to the world. hows dat, huh?

that i saw once di kelas Bahasa Indonesia nya Ms. Palupi. jujur, pendapat gw ttg quote itu 50-50. setengah kagum, setengah lagi menganggap itu quote total bullshit. wats wrong with destiny? aneh. siapa sih yg bilang begitu? tapi i believe in MAKING things happen. and i don't really think it has to do with destiny. in fact, more to kemauan kita untuk making it happen. if you let things happen, it's not because of destiny, itu cuman karena mereka pasrah and gampang give up.

udah ah. i better stop complaining.

EXAM TIPS from Mates, Dates Guide to Life, Love, and Looking Luscious by the highly acclaimed author of Mates, Dates Series, CATHY HOPKINS (with extra notes and additions by... ME!!)

BEFORE
REVISION:
- Don't keep putting revision off -- the closer you are to an exam the more stressed you will be and the less effectively you will revise (trust me on this one! try doing it at least 2 day before exam date)

- Make revision cards (or notes if you're the lazy dazzy kind. don't look at the handouts/texbooks. write what you know first, then refer to the book)

- Talk about your work with others (don't get carried away and chat on and on bout Joel Madden or the cool Juicy Couture bag u've been wanting)

- Put posters of key formulas around ur bedroom, fridge, etc. (beside ur bed is best! you'll look at it once u wake up or going to sleep!)

- Use different color highlighters for important points in different areas (makes ur revision less boring and exercises ur eyes. :))

- Use travel time to catch up on reading. (not reccomended if u tend to get dizzy reading in a moving vehicle)

-Basil and peppermint essential oil both have properties to sharpen the concentration and aid memory, so can be used to help in study time. (never tried this before. but hey, it's worth a try!)

DURING
EXAM TIME

- Make sure you have all you need in the way of pens, pencils, water etc. (sharpen your pencils so that u don't waste time)

- Don't drink lots of coffee to wake yourself up -- you'll spend half the exam busting to the loo. (no need to waste time right?)

- DON'T EVEN TRY TO LOOK UP FROM YOUR EXAM PAPER (unless the teacher needs to make some announcement)! somehow this will get you tempted to 'sneak' around.

- READ EXAM QUESTIONS CAREFULLY!! (especially in multiple choice questions. sometimes the choice of answers are similiar... so WATCH OUT!!)

AFTER
POST-EXAM

- Come out of the exam room, and forget all about it. (it's kinda hard, but try your best!)

- Get your mind off the exam by listening to mad hard-rock songs in ur iPod...

- Read some magazines, eat or go out with your friends, have fun and forget every single little thing about it. (make an agreement with your friends to not say a word about the EXAM!!)

i seriously need to overcome tis habit. as in.. MALESS. aduuhh. ya oloh. i hav PKn assessment tmrw!! i hardly know a thing!! well i do.. just, ga yakin udah nyantol ato blom. ehehhe..

aduh.. tadinya gw mau naro post panjang lebar nihh. tadi gw lagi mood nulis. trus gatau knapa gw malah jadi browsing ttg HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS. ahh gw nungguin forever for that book. ahh. i got da topic.. gw mau cerita agak panjang lebar...

gw pertama kali baca harry potter, kalo nggak salah pas gw kelas tiga ato empat. sebenernya sih, itu buku udah diterbitin sejak taon 97. tapi, kyknya belom masuk indo deh. eniweis.. waktu itu bokap gw yg beliin bukunya. first time i tried to read it, i thought, gilaaa tebel banget ni buku.. sanggup ga ya gw selesaikan.. (btw, wktu itu gw baca yg bahasa indo.) gw kadang suka baca buku tapi ga gw selesaiin (sampe sekarang jg gtu hehe). pertama2, gw inget banget, waktu harry baru beli2 barang di Diagon Alley bareng Hagrid (yes, i remember it clearly.) tapi gatau kenapa i got bored...

then one magical day, i tried to read that book again and i just couldn't put it down. rasanya kalo gw taro itu buku, i'm missing something.. and penasaraaaan terus.. alhasil itu buku gw bawa kemanapun gw pergi. seriously. no joke.

lalu, sejak itu gw cinta banget banget banget sama harry potter. gw gak tau gmana hidup gw sekarang kalo ga pernah baca buku itu. sounds exagerating, but, oh well. hahas

sekarang, gw menunggu buku bestseller terakhir karangan J.K Rowling ini, membawa gw kedalam lautan emosi. i mean seriously. excitement, sadness, curiosity, happyness.. all mixed up in one big giant cauldron (gotta stick to the theme). buku ini buku terakhir. like, CAN U BELIEVE DAT?? 10 years has past. J.K Rowling life is practically rags-to-riches. well, i mean something like that. some source says that she's even richer that the Queen of England!! Or so they said.. and all that because of a wizard boy called Harry Potter.. which is exactly why she is my role model.. *sigh* *sob sob* *terharu*

moving on... setelah gw excited ga ketulungan, i thought. THIS IS THE FRIGGIN LAST BOOK OF THE SERIES.. the end of it all... rasanya gw pengen nangis sebisa-bisanya gw nangis... cos there will never be another Harry Potter to look forward to. except for the movie. but still. its the end of it all. gone. ok. dead. *ENDLESS SOBS*

moreover. i'm really really going to miss the guy (Harry Potter).
i'll miss reading the book until 3 in the morning. (regardless school days)
i'll miss discussing it with my frends over and over again
i'll miss crying to myself at night from reading the book
i'll miss the raging thoughts i'll have in my head from the arguments and such going in the book.
i'll miss the whole emotion packd up in the book.

today's a day which i call math day. cos i need to calculate numbers from morning till nite. so i hav math on first session today, then we hav extra class, until 3.30 . and thennn.. when i get home, havta do tis lesson with my teacher. usually start at 7.00/7.30 until 9.00 . yea sux. huh. cape hati gw. cape otak jg. huhu.

then, monsi left. she got this softball game. then, tinggal casey, gw and fie. so we decided to go to ratu plazaa. browsing dvd and stuff. fun. tapi gw cman beli grey's anatomy cos i don't really hav enuf money left. trus qta balikk lagiii!! and ran to ariel, od and nonny!! haha. oia and inez too!! ariel's quote: "akhirnya cisvers kumpul semuaaa" haha. betul juga. pas nonton good charlotte jg gtu.. haha

yea and after dat we all went home. to our lovely couch. infront of the telly.

hellow evryonee.. gila.. selama liburan 3 hari + weekend, kerjaan gw nonton terus. i mean seriously. sejak minggu lalu malah!! first i watchd THE HOLIDAY then THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS, DREAMGIRLS, THE QUEEN and so on.. terus barusan gw nonton HEROES and GREY'S ANATOMY. speaking of which, gw tadi kan baru beli DVDnya grey's anatomy di ratu plaza (no comment whether its illegal or not ;p) trus isinya 6 disc. gw sempet bingung, soalnya setau gw season satunya grey's anatomy episodenya cman sedikit.. but, i thought, watdeheck?! akhirnya gw beli...

SATU DISC ISINYA CMAN DUA EPISODE. NOTE THAT!! DUA!! gila apa yahh.. dasar mau untung aja tu orang. huh. gw aja beli dvd OC satu discnya 4 episode. lahh. ini koq cman dua??!! aaaahhh... sebal aku sebaaaall!! udah ah. i wanna make reviews.

THE HOLIDAY
a must watch!! seriously people!! take ur boyfren/girlfren or whicheverfren u want to the movies tis valentine's day and WATCH THIS FREAKIN' MOVIE!!! o, GOD!! it's oh-so romantic. and by gosh, JUDE LAW CAKEPP BANGET!! and i didn't know jack black can play in a romantic movie.. wew. it's a real good movie about love and moving on [trust me, u'll get what i mean]

THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS
a touching father-and-son movie. highly reccomended. but u hav to be ready, cos it's kinda boring at the begining. but u'll be looking forward for what's gonna happen to chris. prepare a box of tissue next to that popcorn!

DREAMGIRLS
if u love musicals, u gotta see tis. its really gud. bout wat can happen in popstardom. soo.. yea.. interesting.. very.. x)

THE QUEEN
(sorta bord with the whole review thing so i'll havta make tis quick) gud. about wat happen after lady diana died. the reaction of the queen and all. kinda historical.. soo.. yea.. if u're not into history, not really reccomended.

ternyata nihh... KOLEKSI POSTCARD GW BANYAAK BGT!! well, there are 38 of them, blom termasuk yg udah gw tempelin di binder gw :9 gw kira gw cman punya 10an. eh ternyata, hehe.

kadang, kita emang ga nyadar kita telah mengoleksi sesuatu. tiba2 udah banyak aja. kayaknya, gw pertama kali tertarik ngeliat postcard yg lucu2 dari adracks. itu loh, postcard gratisan yg sering ada di mal2. gw ambilin ajah. and i know, its advertisements. i think nyokap gw sempet mikir those are just ads. habis lucu sihh, ya gw ambil aja, ya gak??

yg paling gw suka, itu yg gw dapet dari majalah NGI (National Geographic Indonesia). gambarnya foto2 yg diambil sama fotografer nya natgeo. some of them were very simple, tapi it has a lot of meaning. x)

trus gw jg punya postcard yg gambarnya lukisan lucuu. dilukis sama pelukis australia (i think. :9) i got that in gold coast, australia pas liburan kesana. nanti klo gw inget gw scan deh. trus gw pasang di sini. hehehe.

ahhh. lucu juga ya... gw punya koleksi yg ga pernah gw sadarin. as in, i never knew i had them, apalagi collecting them. and i never had the intention of even trying to collect them. haha.

hehehe. aduhh. ironis sekali yahh hidup ini. tadi kan gw bawa jco dan berbagi kpada tman2. NAMUN, gw lupa banyak tmen2 gw yg ga masuk hari ini. pada kebanjiran. huhu. maafkan aku tman2. smoga kalian selamat di rumah. AMIIN.

all in all. i wanna talk bout PRECAMP 1. tuh kan feb, gw tulis jg.
jadi... gw akhirnya sampai sehat walafiat di the village. despite the heavy rain, aku senang akhirnya sampe and ktemu my fellow CISV frens. miss them a lot.

trus, lama2 orang2 berdatangaaan. lalu kita mulai bermain. BANG!
then, exercising with john. then TOASTER. and so on. sepertinya kalo gw ceritain tentang precamp dari awal sampe akhir, panjang bgt. sampe batere laptop gw abis jg blom tentu selesai. hahaha. so in conclusion, it was a lot of fun. walaupun banyak yg ga dtg gara2 kejebak macet/banjir.

wat i love the most bout cisv camps is that everytime i went there, i'll meet someone new. and adding a brand new person(s) to my circle of friends. seruu kann. and there we are, with one mission and vision, PEACE, LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP. ahh hidup ini indah. just hope a lot of people can feel the same happiness and love like we do. despite the war, racism and prejudices.

well, it's kinda late.
