it's nandra. they also call her nashz, the history of such name is way too long to elaborate in this little space. she's seventeen. she's a she. she lives a typical metropolitan lifestyle in the capital of Indonesia. she's currently in her senior year of high school, enduring the second and last year of IB Diploma Programme that's totally ruining her life slowly. but she thinks the whole suffering would give her some sort of advantage in the (scarily) near future. she's a CISVer and lovin' every bit of it. oh, she also very much enjoys mango juice, she'd even prefer it than OJ haha. and while we're at it, yes, she might be random from time to time. she wishes you'd be quite patient about it. :)

The Last 2 Weeks... ;p

Oh-My-God! It's been ages since I last posted! Been almost two weeks, no? haha.
A lot has been going on since the last time I posted.

There was JB Nites 3 . Which went superbly I must say. Acquired some knowledge... One of them was to not wear Converse on a hike. Do it at your own risk! Haha. Planned some events for next year. I have this fear that's building up inside of me... It kept on screaming that the event I planned will be a failure. But I tried to be positive and just see what will happen next. Well, for the time being that is. Coz it turns out I've got a lot more to worry about...

That's where my report card come in. I checked it out once I got home from JB Nites. Then a mixture of feelings arose.
I did exceptionally well in English! 9.5 for the essay! YAAAAYY!! In short, I GOT AN 'A' FOR ENGLISH! YAAAAAAYYYY!! I'm sooooooooo freaked! The hard work I've put in for the exam is finally paid off! ;p
HOWEVER. My math was 'below average'. it's a 6.6 *i spose hehe* Well it was okay for me but it didn't seem so to my parents! Yeah! They opened my report before I do! AAARRH! Anyways, then there goes the speech of "You're supposed to do better than this... How could you... bla bla bla" Yeah. That. :p
What surprises me most was that in one of the subjects *i forgot what it was*, I flunked. Yeah. So last term I got a 9.6 and for the exam I got 5.8 . ;p Wat a crapload! AAAHH!
Anyways, I've gotten over the whole thing! I've got a whole semester to determine my academic future. Haha. ;p

So to take my mind of the whole report card shite, I went to BALI! YAAAAAYY!!
And the best part is, I went there with Filza! And my family of course! It was sooooo much fun!
Sooooo I arrived in Bali on Christmas Day *2 am to be exact, thanks to Garuda for the 2 hour delay! ;p
Since some of my friends were in Bali as well, we got together with some of them. Well only Jo and Della tho. But still it was too much fun! It rained for the first two days tho :( I was really desperate to see the sun! There were totally no sunshine on Bali for two whole days! How shitty is that??? Anyways, I met Jo and Jenny (his girlfriend ;p) in Kuta on Christmas. When we got there, the rain stopped, so we headed down to the beach. Oooooh, how i love to see the beach! ;p But guess what, 20 minutes later, it rained! Arh! Stupid rain! But we went around anyways. ;p
The next days we went to Waterbom (cost me heaps, but was worth it ;p )... And of course SHOPPING! I have to tell you, I like to shop in Ubud better than in Kuta. The atmosphere in Ubud is more... ummm... Bali. You somehow lose the fact that you're in Bali if you shop in Kuta, it's too toursity. Haha. It's a bit more artsy in Ubud and some boutiques are pricey too... But, they do have great boutiques. Oh well, just some opinion... I shopped mostly in Ubud, and got this super gorgeous skirt for half its price. Hahaha.
Aside from shopping, We went to Benoa for watersport! With Della and her sister... It was soooooo... exhilarating! I tried flyfish in Benoa and I suggest you should too! Haha. You're practically flying! Well, floating in midair I suppose... It's hard to explain how it goes... Just try it.. Hahaha.
I really wanted to bungee jump, but I suppose I didn't have the time and it was too pricey. But I have have have to bungee jump the next time I'm in Bali! Yeaaaahh!!

Soooo that's it.. That's what's been happening in my ordinary life... ;p
I'd like to close this post with a line from Jamie Cullum's song Photograph...

When I look back on my ordinary, ordinary life,
I see so much magic, though I missed it at the time.

It goes out to the people who thinks their world has ended because they're stuck at home during Christmas and New Year holidays. Think about that line. You'll soon realised of the magical things that has happened in your so-called ordinary life...

Enjoy your holidays people!
Happy New Year!
Oh, And Happy belated Christmas! ;p
